ABOUT JACK SCHELL – THE SOUNDWEAVER

Jack Schell has over 20+ years of experience as a composer, musician and audio engineer.

His creations, drawing from the broadest range of musical styles and genres, evoke visual images in listeners’ minds to form what may be called ‘soundscapes’ or ‘musical art pieces’.  Jack Schell – The Sound Weaver has a unique signature sound and style. His uncommon rhythms combined with sweet, sometimes quirky and fun and memorable melodies form original sound compositions that appeal to those from all walks of life.

While mostly instrumental and certainly unique, Jack’s work might be compared in style to that of Danny Elfman, Depeche Mode, Air, Moby, Thievery Corporation or Zero 7. His piano and keyboard influences include Mike Garson, Bill Evans and Thelonius Monk. Other of Jack’s key influences include David Bowie, George Harrison, John Lennon, Marvin Gaye, Earl Slick, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

Mr. Schell’s compositions have been used in local radio and television advertising. Jack’s collaborations with Earl Slick famed lead guitarist for David Bowie and John Lennon, have been used in television on ABC and ESPN sports shows such as “US Olympic Gold” and the NFL Pre-Season Special”.

Mr. Schell provides original music, score beds, sounds and tones for animations by New York based Tristan Algeria Viridis and Jayel Draco.

Jacko’s music has been used throughout in over 70 episodes of “The Nancy Boys”, a cable access television series, and has been regularly showcased on Rainbow World Radio since Jan 2007. He composed the opening theme music for the StoneWall Society’s “Pride In The Arts Music Awards Show” in 2010 and 2011.

Jack’s music has also been featured in promotional videos and websites for luxury resort properties. Currently Jack is composing the theme song, score beds and sounds for a pilot television series on paranormal supernatural studies and investigations.

His significant achievements include:Jack recently relocated his operation to Las Vegas, where his Blue Carpet Studio offers a full complement of creative services to assist professionals, companies and organizations who seek a unique sound that takes their prized project or business image to the next level.
